“Survival skills” – half day virtual classroom
According to the World Economic Forum’s 2023 Future of Jobs Report, resilience, flexibility and agility rank as the third most important skill group to have in the workplace now. They remain in the top five skills that are increasing in importance most rapidly between now and 2027, so the time for resilience training is now.
Resilience is more than just coping with setbacks, challenges change at work. It’s a wellbeing issue. Lululemon’s 2023 global wellbeing survey found that more than 67% of people worldwide say they make wellbeing a priority, yet 44% feel it is impossible to achieve.
Our resilience workshop “Unlocking Your Superpowers” equips your employees with resilience skills by cultivating their change agility and growth mindset.
We combine the science of resilience and positive psychology, guiding learners through deep introspection to find their inner strengths and enhance facets of their being which might be holding their resilience back. Change agility and growth mindset are the building blocks, while self-esteem and other internal factors create the mortar that holds the blocks together.

FAQ’s about our resilience training workshop
Is resilience training going to be right for me?
We believe that resilience training is for everyone. It’s also great in organisations that go through frequent changes, or it could be a great way to prepare people for a major change.
How are resilience training workshops delivered?
Our resilience workshops can be delivered face to face or as virtual classrooms. If you have a large enough group we are happy to come to your workplace to deliver the workshop face to face and we can customise our training material with your branding.
How much time do I need to commit to this resilience training?
Workshops take four hours, including several breaks. After the workshop you should be prepared to commit around two hours for deeper reflection and embedding the resilience, change agility and growth mindset tools and techniques that are going to work for you. Ideally you would have the whole day blocked out so that you can do this straight after the workshop.
What equipment do I need for a virtual classroom?
You will need to have a laptop or computer with webcam and microphone. Headphones are recommended if you are attending at work or there are going to be other people around you. This is important because in our resilience training workshops, we like to simulate the classroom as much as we can. By being able to see each other and talk to each other, the learning process is enriched, and you will get more value from the training. You may also need to download software that allows you to connect to the classroom. We recommend that this is arranged with your workplace, or sorted on your home equipment well in advance of the workshop so you are up and running on the day. You may also need to have access to your emails as sometimes we email handouts during the workshop, and we might use smartphones for other interactions.
Can I arrange a group of people and get a group discount?
Yes! Learning in groups, with discussion and debate enhances learning and we learn so much from our participants. Whether it’s a group of friends or colleagues, contact us and let’s discuss your needs. The bigger the group, the bigger the per person discount.
What other learning does this resilience training complement?
While this is offered as a standalone workshop, it is also part of our team leader training program. The ability to demonstrate resilience, change agility and a growth mindset is an essential skill for team leaders and managers. You might want to also invest some time in our stress management training. This workshop covers other aspects of helping you to thrive.
